Originally conceptualized as a solo project, Polaroids began in Fall 2023 with guitarist Edgar Echeverria’s pursuit in releasing his own material. Edgar reconnected with drummer Jasmine De Leon and they immediately began recording the debut EP “I’m Not Sure Who I am, but I Know Who I’ve Been,” a collection of heartfelt indie songs which was later released June 2024. Soon, the duo decided to turn this project into a band and were on the pursuit for a Guitarist and Bassist. Joined by Henry Vasquez, guitarist, and Meyling Wong, bassist.
